James Daniel Lucero
Of Counsel
A native of Mauldin, South Carolina, Danny received a B.S. degree in Economic and Political Science from Presbyterian College in 1989, an M.B.A with an accounting emphasis from Winthrop University in 1992 and a J.D. from USC Columbia Law in 1995. He is licensed to practice law in South Carolina. After practicing with a multistate firm for nine years, Danny co-founded Lucero & Watkins in 2005, a real estate law firm with offices in Columbia and Greenville. After running that firm successfully for thirteen years, he retired in December of 2018. Danny joined B. Bracknell Shuler, LLC in February of 2019 in an ‘Of Counsel’ capacity.
When he is not at work, Danny volunteers with TreesUpstate and several animal care and rescue organizations. If he is not doing that, there’s a good chance Danny’s somewhere in the mountains. He is a life member of Trout Unlimited and the Sierra Club, and enjoys traveling, biking, hiking, and fishing.
